Our last temple of the 13 temples in 13 months in UTAH! We planned a family get away to Vernal/Flaming Gorge Utah for Labor day. We arrived Friday night late in Dutch John because we waited to leave until after David's cross country race. Saturday morning we all got up bright and early and headed back 1 hour to the Vernal temple. We were able to take with us some family names because a great friend in our Ward helped us find them! Heather, David, Jacob and I were able to be baptized for these family members. Vince baptized us. It was a great experience. After the temple, we went rafting down the river and even Hannah had a blast. I didn't even get to feel the 55 degree temp of the water this time (thank heaven). We listened to the BYU game on the internet and then went to bed and everyone slept until 9am! We were all exhausted. Church in Dutch John began at 11am which we were all thankful for! It was a great meeting--Jacob was invited to pass the sacrament and we ran into the Becks from Bountiful. President Beck set apart Grandpa and Grandma Wall for this most recent mission to Africa and is now the Young Men General President of the church.
We are looking forward to a full month of family activities and memories.
